valentines day has been celebrated  since the days of the Ancient Romans and it was even celebrated to days witch was the 14 and the 15.Originally valentines day was celebrated because  emperor Claudius II executed two men both named valentine on February   14 later on in the 3rd century it was celebrated with St. Valentines. Now lets get into what i think valentines day is about.In my opinion valentine is about letting someone you really love and care about that you love them a lot and show them love by ways like buying them chocolates,stuffed animals.candy also people ride card to each other and buying flowers to many people spend the whole day with their valentines i think valentines is a great day because i think it lets that person know you love them
